The Pace SBDC helps small businesses secure Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) certification from NYC, NYS, & the Port Authority, and provide support for businesses seeking to secure 8(a) certification through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned certification through New York State.
NYC Certified Minority & Women-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE)

  • New York City M/WBE Certification: Administered by the NYC's Department of Small Business Services (SBS), the NYC M/WBE certification helps certified businesses obtain greater access to opportunities to sell their products and services to New York City agencies, and more effectively compete for contracts. Certified firms are also included in the NYC Directory, which promotes M/WBE businesses to purchasers
