Child Care Stabilization Grants
The goal of the Child Care Stabilization Grant is to provide financial relief to child care providers to help cover unexpected business costs associated with the COVID-19 pandemic

The New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) is currently accepting applications for child care stabilization grants. Eligible recipients include Day Care providers, School Age Child Care providers, Family Day Care Centers, and Group Family Day Care providers. The deadline to apply for funding is 11/30/2021.

Funding from this grant can be used for personnel costs, rent or payment on any business mortgage obligation, utilities, business-related insurance, facility maintenance or improvements, personal protective equipment, cleaning and sanitation supplies and services, or training and professional development related to health and safety practices, mental health supports for children and employees, and health and safety.

The grant amount will vary based on a number of factors, including modality, geographic regional market rate, and maximum capacity. To get started businesses should compile their license/registration/enrollment information including legal name and contact information and estimated monthly expenses.
