See That Girl Cleaning Service, located in Downtown Brooklyn, provides housekeeping services to residents as well as janitorial services to offices and buildings within the Metro New York area. Founded by Jasmine Coppin in 2013, the firm is bonded and fully-insured and offers a range of cleaning packages and frequency of service to accommodate clients’ specific cleaning needs.

 

Ms. Coppin was seeking to amend her marketing efforts to position the firm to secure and effectively complete government contracts. With this in mind the client met with Pace SBDC Senior Business Advisor Rawle Brown to learn how to hone in on relevant government procurement opportunities, and discuss strategies for marketing her MWBE and Section 3 certifications. Rawle signed the client up for the NYSBDC BidLInx system, a Web-based government contract “bid-matching” service that emails notices of opportunities tailored to match a firm’s products, services and capabilities. To facilitate continued growth Rawle is also working with the client to develop a capability statement and business plan, as well as explore possible working capital financing.
