Revisiting the Business Entity Formation Workshop

Sole Proprietorship, C-Corp, S-Corp, LLC. These terms can confuse even the most able entrepreneur. As the first step of starting a business, selecting the legal structure for your business is of cardinal importance.

Earlier this week, the Pace University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) teamed up with the City Bar Justice Center to host a lawyer from Neighborhood Entrepreneur Law Project to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the various business structure options.. With an inquisitive group of participants in the Q&A that followed the presentation, the workshop helped the entrepreneurs understand each type of entity so that they can choose the one that is right for their particular businesses.

No matter what stage you're at in your business, we here at the Pace SBDC can help you access the counseling, training, and resources you need to achieve your business goals and dreams. Call us at (212) 618-6655 or email us at sbdc@pace.edu to learn more, and to schedule an appointment at no cost to meet with one of our business advisors and to learn more about how to access 1:1 legal assistance.
