Developing your Brand Story and Assets Workshop
On July 19th, 2022, the Pace University SBDC hosted a final session of Developing Your Brand Story and Assets in-person for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic from Pace University's Lower Manhattan Campus.
The program was led by Lubin School of BusinessAdjunct Professor Peggy Kim, an expert in branding, and marketing, as well as being an entrepreneur herself. This program brought Professor Kim together with Pace SBDC clients to help cultivate a compelling brand story and assets that drive sales as well as be a significant component of a successful marketing plan.
The final program session was kicked off by Lubin School of Business Dean Lawrence Singleton, and the Pace SBDC Regional Director, Andrew Flamm. Together, they celebrated the accomplishments of program participants and shared welcoming remarks. Andrew then introduced Professor Kim to continue the session.
As part of the final session, 11 participants shared a storyboard of their company, product, and service. Then, each participant shared their finalized brand story which they created during the program.
At the conclusion of the program, several participants shared their own personal experiences through this program. They noted how it helped them place their business on the right track to success, develop more courage, and feel more prepared to approach customers.
The Pace University SBDC would like to thank all participants for their participation and engagement in our training workshop. and NYS Assemblymember Deborah Glick for her support of the workshop.
