January 2025 Small Business Financing Panel and Networking Event

On January 15, 2025, the Pace University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) hosted a dynamic Small Business Financing Panel and Networking Event at One Pace Plaza. This well-attended event connected over 200 small business owners with financial experts and lenders to discuss critical resources and strategies for securing business funding.

The program began with opening remarks from Andrew Flamm, Regional Director of the Pace SBDC, who emphasized the no-cost services provided by the Center and shared key financial tips for small businesses seeking funding. Attendees then participated in two engaging panel discussions . The first panel focused on insights from financial institutions, while the second highlighted community-based lenders, providing a comprehensive overview of financing options and criteria.

After the panel discussions, the event transitioned into an extended networking session. This enabled entrepreneurs to connect one-on-one with representatives from the participating lenders, fostering meaningful relationships and actionable next steps for their financing needs.

Administered by the Research Foundation for the State University of New York, the Pace SBDC is funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration, the State of New York, and host campuses. These partnerships enable the SBDC to provide no-cost resources and support to small businesses across the region. This event was made possible by the generous support of our sponsors:

Their contributions were instrumental in creating a valuable experience for all attendees. And we extend our gratitude to the participating lenders who provided invaluable insights and support during the event:

For attendees, this event served as a crucial step in their entrepreneurial journey. We encourage participants to reflect on the knowledge gained, reach out to the lenders they connected with, and take advantage of the Pace SBDC’s resources for ongoing guidance and support.
