Pace SBDC at AI Training during America’s SBDC Annual Conference

On September 9th, Joe Peterson and Pedro Soto, Pace SBDC Business Advisors, attended a full-day workshop on artificial intelligence (AI) during America’s SBDC Annual Conference in Atlanta. The event gathered 173 attendees from over 58 SBDCs to explore AI essentials and practical applications, laying the groundwork for the new AI U Program, funded by Google.org.

“Small businesses are the cornerstone of America's economy, and Google is committed to empowering them with the digital tools they need to thrive,” said Lisa Gevelber, Founder of Grow with Google. This collaboration aims to equip SBDC advisors like Joe and Pedro with no-cost AI training to help small businesses drive growth in the digital landscape.

During the workshop, Joe and Pedro learned how to leverage AI to improve efficiency, enhance customer experiences, and drive business success. “AI is changing business and the world around us at a startling speed,” stated Charles Tee Rowe, President & CEO of America’s SBDC. “Small businesses need help to find the best tools and tactics to navigate this change.” For more information about the AI U Program, visit America’s SBDC AI U.
