Pace SBDC & NYSSCPA hosted an Accounting Clinic on January 30th, 2025

The Pace University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) team was pleased to host a CPA Accounting Clinic for New York State small businesses. Through this effort, participating CPA volunteers from the New York State Society of CPAs met one-on-one with NYSBDC small business clients in individual Zoom breakout rooms to review specific accounting questions related to their small business. These free virtual sessions addressed questions in areas such as tax filing responsibilities and tax minimization strategies and complemented the range of no-cost financial and operational counselling services SBDC advisors offer.

The Pace SBDC would like to thank the participating CPAs for their insights and support of our small business clients: Ramona Cedeno, Richard Kravitz, Edward Mendlowitz, Tracey Niemotko, Steven Mezzio, Ben Ofori, and Cecilia Leung; as well as Jenny Alton from NYSBDC’s Central Office for co-hosting.

At the Pace University Small Business Development Center, our certified business advisors are here to guide existing business owners as well as aspiring entrepreneurs, and provide valuable resources like the CPA clinic. To schedule a business advisory session, visit our website or email us.
