Pace SBDC Celebrates SBDC Day 2025 at New York’s Capitol

Pace SBDC Regional Director Andrew Flamm recently returned to the New York State Capitol for SBDC Day, joining senior staff from the NY Small Business Development Center (SBDC) network and fellow SBDC directors from across the state. This annual event serves as a vital opportunity to shine a spotlight on the NYSBDC network’s range of small business client success stories and how our advisors have supported their venture, as well as engage with legislators and their staff, including Assembly Member Brian Cunningham (see photo), to discuss small businesses, including in the Pace SBDC’s expanded Brooklyn service area.

Having fostered relationships with many of these policymakers over the years, Andrew’s discussions focused on strengthening connections and exploring new ways to support small business owners in their respective communities. In addition to legislative meetings, Andrew participated in a NYSBDC directors meeting, where leaders from across the state shared best practices and strategies for enhancing small business support services. These collaborative discussions allow SBDCs to refine their programs and continue delivering valuable resources to entrepreneurs at all stages of their journey.

For more information on how Pace SBDC supports small businesses, including inspiring success stories from four of our clients, visit our SBDC Day 2025 page. These stories highlight the real impact of SBDC services and serve as examples for aspiring entrepreneurs looking to grow their businesses.
