Small Business Training with Congresswoman Clarke and the SBA.
Recently, the Pace University SBDC hosted two informative training sessions in partnership with U.S. Congresswoman Yvette Clarke and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Congresswoman Clarke opened the events by discussing the federal government’s support for small businesses, emphasizing the importance of accessing these resources.
Andrew Flamm, Pace SBDC Regional Director, followed with an overview of Pace SBDC’s services, noting that our advisors offer expert guidance in areas such as financing, marketing, government procurement, and certification programs, and he also offered practical strategies for small businesses to finance their growth. Andrew then introduced the guest presenters, Troy Diaz and Jacqueline Franco from the SBA’s New York District Office, who led sessions on SBA small business financing programs and SBA small business certification programs.
If you missed the sessions, recordings are available on the Webinars page. To learn more about SBA financing or certifications, or to schedule a counseling appointment with an advisor, complete the SBDC counseling form today!
