Successful Launch of Pace SBDC Advisory Services in Williamsburg
The Pace Small Business Development Center (SBDC) continues to expand its reach, bringing expert guidance and valuable resources to small businesses across Brooklyn. On February 28, 2025, we successfully launched our in-person advisory services in Williamsburg, marking another significant milestone in our commitment to supporting local entrepreneurs.

Held at Grand Morelos, a longstanding Williamsburg business and Pace SBDC client, the event gathered local business owners, community leaders, and key stakeholders.
Among the attendees were Congressmember Nydia Velázquez, John Mallano, District Director of the SBA’s NY District Office, Francesca Bruce & Yaz Mansi from the Grand Street Business Improvement District (BID), and representatives from State Senator Julia Salazar’s office, the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, and Brooklyn Community Board 1. We were excited to celebrate expanding our service to this new satellite location with these key stakeholders, as we provide valuable support for small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. Their presence underscored the strong network of support available to Williamsburg’s diverse business community.
Pace SBDC’s business advisors provide expert guidance in key areas such as access to financing, marketing and sales strategies, government procurement, certification programs, and business planning. Sessions are by appointment, in English or Spanish, and interested small businesses must complete the SBDC counseling request form.
