Pace SBDC Business Advisor Greg Callender helped Better than the Gift with business plan revisions, financial projections, and pitch preparation. They captured 3rd place in the New York Public Library's StartUp! business plan competition, securing $7,500 in prize money to support their growth.

Pace SBDC provided guidance to QUA Inc as they prepared a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) application to the National Institutes of Health. QUA was awarded a $150,000 SBIR Phase I grant for further testing of their innovative technology, helping create three new jobs.

The NYSBDC team and technology consultants provided Pace SBDC client Geopipe with guidance on their Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) application to the National Science Foundation. Geopipe was awarded a $750,000 SBIR Phase II grant to commercialize its technology.
