TRINITY BOXING CLUB

In spring of 2022, Pace SBDC long-time client Trinity Boxing Club contacted the Pace SBDC for assistance with the relocation of their facility to a new Financial District location. Business owner Martin Snow, a well-known boxing trainer and media personality (and has appeared in RHONY), worked with Pace SBDC Business Advisors Rawle Brown and Joe Peterson to provide advice on social media marketing strategies and review financing options. Rawle and Joe also connected the business with the NYC Dept of Small Business Services for a consultation on NYC building regulations.

Over the past several months, the Pace SBDC has also worked with small business client Call the Squid, a commercial cleaning business owned by Maurice (Moe) Larkin. Pace SBDC Business Advisors helped the business secure NYC MWBE certification, as well as identify prospective commercial cleaning contracts to bid on.

With Trinity Boxing seeking bidders for commercial cleaning at their newly opened gym, they requested and Pace SBDC provided an introduction to Call the Squid, who were selected for this opportunity, helping both meet one client's need as well as generate new business opportunity for another.
